The Story Behind Roxiedoodle
Hi, I’m Roxie.
I’m an artist, writer, lawyer, mom, and proud grandmother—and I’ve never been very good at sitting still.
I’m almost always humming, thinking, or drawing. For years, I doodled in the margins of my notes because drawing helped me focus. Those little lines, shapes, patterns, and ideas eventually grew into something much more: my own style of art.

From Doodles to Art
Most of my work begins simply—with pen and paper. I love letting one line lead to another and seeing where the drawing takes me.
What starts as a doodle can become a whimsical village, a patterned sun, an abstract design, or something I never expected when I began.
My creativity doesn’t stop with paper. I also create on canvas and transform everyday objects into pieces of art—including ceramic tiles, wine glasses, flowerpots, barstools, tables, and even old cabinet doors.
I especially love taking something ordinary and giving it a new personality.

My work is colorful, detailed, sometimes quirky, and always personal. I’m inspired by patterns, shapes, imagination, and the little things in life that make us smile.
For me, creating art isn’t about everything being perfect. It’s about enjoying the process, following an idea, and creating something that brings a little more JOY into the world.
